Up to 10 million drivers are putting off servicing their car to cut costs, a new study shows.

Car repairs are being put off for lengthy periods of time, according to a new survey. Just over an eighth of motorists had driven with their warning lights flashing for more than a week because they could not afford repairs. Another quarter admitted they had driven more than 2,000 miles further than was recommended by their manufacturer before booking in for a service....

One in ten British motorists admits to having fallen asleep at the wheel in the past year, a new survey has shown.

Drivers are hitting an average speed of 50 mph when they drop off, according to research from LV=, and travelling for as far as 26m before they wake up - meaning that a total of 55,000 miles were driven last year by sleeping drivers....

Distracted drivers are all over Britain’s roads, it has emerged, after a new study found more than seven out of ten motorists admitted to multi-tasking at the wheel.

Just over two-thirds of drivers in the study by a leading price comparison site admitted to eating behind the wheel - by far the most common distraction, with smoking the second most popular at 34%....

Brits are feeling less of a squeeze at the pump than they were two months ago, new figures show, as the price of a tank of fuel has fallen by up to £6.

The average price of unleaded petrol in the UK has fallen by 4.5% in the last two months, according to Santander’s latest Fuel Survey, though in some areas prices fell by as much as 7%....

British Police are asking the public for help to tackle disqualified and uninsured drivers by coming forward with any information they have about those driving illegally.

"I am encouraging people to come forward with information on those they know who are driving while disqualified or without insurance," said Inspector David McKenzie, Forth Valley Division Road Policing Unit....
