The bedroom has been designed to recreate the masterpiece Bedroom in Arles and was created ahead of the launch of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Van Gogh’s Bedrooms exhibition....

Parents are finding it easier to get their kids to do their homework and eat healthily than to get them to turn off their gadgets, according to new research from charity Action for Children.

 

Asked in a poll which behaviour they found most difficult to control in their children, ‘limiting technology based activities’ topped the list with 23%, followed by healthy eating (19%) and getting them to go to sleep (18%)....

One in three workers in the South East travel to work by train, whilst a similar number in Manchester travel by bus, while Cambridge has most cycling commuters, new research has revealed.

 

The study of postcodes by the Royal Mail suggested that residents in the Scottish border town Cockburnspath have the furthest commute at an average of 24 miles each way a day, while the shortest are in Kirkwall and Aberdeen at 3.9 miles....
