At London’s newest pop-up, table service is provided by a team of trained Alsatian dogs. They also serve cheese and bread. And did we mention it’s all free?
The Bar D’Alsace-tian, which opens today (Friday, May 6) in London’s Soho, employs a team of professional ‘bark-tenders’, who deliver cold bottles of beer to drinkers via custom dog harnesses which have miniature beer barrels attached.
Inside the barrel is a chilled bottle of Kronenbourg 1664, ready for customers to remove and enjoy.
We think they probably get people to deliver the cheese and bread. The human assistants will also be on hand to restock their kegs; otherwise, the bar has totally gone to the dogs.
The sad news is, the bar is open for one day only and just for a few hours (those dog employment laws are tough). Oh, and all the tickets sold out in a matter of minutes after launch yesterday.
Whether your pet delivers free beer or not you can still get great Pet Insurance from Discount Insurance!
